Martes de Carnaval

We attended our third Carnaval parade last night -- we just couldn't stay away!  We read that the best one in the region is in Aguilas, so we grabbed the bull by the horns, as it were, and drove the hour and a bit to see it.  The drive was lovely and at the end we found a picturesque little village surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on the other.  Charles and Ibby stayed home because they weren't feeling well, so we were a bit of a skeleton crew, haha!  Only six of us.  It was fun finding our way through unknown streets, found the parade by listening to the thump thump of overloud speakers, and paid again for some seats on the parade route.  

So, more pictures!  These are mostly for me to remember, because there is no way to accurately represent the energy of the actual Carnaval parades -- really really loud, constant dancing and interaction, fun crowds.
