1000 words

I seldom like to buy school pictures because they never look very good, so this year, since I have a new camera, I thought I'd try my hand at taking some pictures of the kids myself -- because a good camera makes me a professional, right?  I loved that post on "Seriously So Blessed" -- training shmaining, I can take pictures, and I'm going to buy a scalpel and open up a surgery in the garage -- so funny!!!  Here are some of the pics that we took last week.

I don't know.  I should probably get photo shop and learn how to use that, too.  I've also been looking at all of our photos from our trip to Europe and thinking of making books for the kids for Christmas.  We have so many bad pictures -- blurry, dark, etc.  Oh, well.  C'est la vie!  What companies have you liked for photo books?

I can't imagine you having a bad picture of your kids ever. They are all so handsome/beautiful.
I have used Memory Mixer, Snapfish, Kodak and Winkflash. I tend to go back to Snapfish the most often because they have great coupons. But my favorite is Memory Mixer, although it's a bit more expensive and you have to buy the software....but if you want to come to my house with all your pictures on a usb key, we could do a "quick mix" and see if you like how it turns out. I just like the total artistic control it gives me.

Nice pictures!!

I'm done with school pictures, too.

I recently learned of http://www.picnik.com/ for photo editing. My sister took some family pictures of us and she was making them all nice and pretty there.

Today I was on the site trying it out. I liked it so much I went over to Wal-Mart and used the instant printing.

My SIL does them a lot, and she uses MyPublisher, which I think is a Costco one. Hers are always really nice.

I think I did one on snapfish once, and it seems like it came out nicely.
